MARC NASH has admitted he had mixed emotions over his departure from North Shields as he looks to get back into management in the near future.
The former Whitley Bay boss led the Robins to a historic Northern League title win just over 12 months ago before helping the club secure a seventh-placed finish in a highly competitive East Division.
However, the Daren Persson Stadium club will spend next season back in the Northern League after the Football Association forcibly relegated them back into step five for a failure to meet ground grading criteria.
Nash’s departure was confirmed just days later and the former Robins manager has admitted his short absence from the game has allowed him to recharge his batteries and given him a chance to assess what could lie ahead for him.
He told The NLP: “It’s all I have done for the last 13 years of my life but I think I have needed a rest now I am out of the bubble.
