What drew you to this story?

I had no idea. I never really thought about the weather in relation to D-Day, or in relation to any movie, actually. The weather affects any situation. With an invasion like D-Day, there are going to have to be experts who help strategize about what might be the safest and most effective way for hundreds of thousands of people to stage an invasion.
