Since 1826, Pulteney Distillery by Wick's historic harbour has crafted single malt scotch whisky that is the very essence of its remarkable location on the most northerly shores of Scotland where the North Sea meets the Caithness coast.

Old Pulteney, the Maritime Malt, owes its unique character to the sea. The brand's single malt scotch whiskies are both distilled and matured by the sea. The spirit matures in warehouses a mere 300 metres from the North Sea. This, coupled with meticulous cask selection, creates a distinctive flavour which sets Old Pulteney apart. Even two centuries later, the same traditional craftsmanship characterises Old Pulteney's single malts, making it the true Maritime Malt.
