Enjoy lights, laughter and Christmas cheer for all ages at Blair Drummond

A Festive Safari

In the warmer months, Blair Drummond Safari Park is open to those looking to get up close to wildlife.

Elephants, lions, tigers, goats and alpacas are just some of the animals to call Blair Drummond home.

Usually, the park shuts its gates throughout the winter months - until five years ago, when staff decided to host a new series of events over the Christmas months.

“It was a long period of time to be closed from October to March,” Jamie-Leigh Green, communications manager at the park, says. “We had tried doing little pantomimes and things like that, and being open for a couple of days, which went really well.

After the first successful event in 2020, four more followed, with this year’s Blair Drummond Christmas running from November 29 to December 23.
