Gardening in a small space

Just because you are short on space doesn't mean you can't have a nice garden. Small-space gardening can be intimate, interesting and relaxing - not to mention the maintenance can be much less, too.

PLANT PLENTY

When creating a small space garden, my number one tip is ‘don’t be scared of plants’. By using greenery to fill a space, you remove the obvious lines that distinguish that space. If you can blur the lines where the walls meet each other and the floor, and include the top of the fence, then you trick the eye into making the space feel larger than it is.
