According to Rajkumar Kamat, Chairman of the Vibrant Goa Foundation, the concept for the Vibrant Goa event was born after the BNI Goa Chapter hosted the first three-day Goa Biz Fest in 2018.

"During one of the seasons, we interviewed the then Chief Minister of Goa, focusing on the 'Vision of Goa'. After the interview, while touring the expo, he expressed the need for a larger event that could attract international business delegates," Mr. Kamat shared. He further explained that Mr Parrikar had acknowledged the state government's limitations in managing such large-scale events, suggesting instead that they should be overseen by an independent organization or trust, with the government's support.

"This idea stayed with us, and when we learned of his terminal illness, we felt it was the right time to bring his vision to life," said Mr. Kamat. "We began working towards this goal, establishing a public non-profit trust, which ultimately led to the creation of the Vibrant Goa Foundation."

This beautiful state has become a prime destination for international businesses, eager to partner with local enterprises and import Goan products and services. The first season of Vibrant Goa marked the beginning of this initiative, successfully drawing global investors and fostering collaborations within the Goan business community. Now re-branded as Amazing Goa, the second edition of this prestigious event is set to take place in November 2024 at Shyama Prasad Stadium. Over three days, more than 300 international delegates and businesses will participate in this mega event.
