THE PHEASANT
This place setting has a more classic feel; I love the striking shape of the place mat from Fiona Finds set against the House of Hackney tablecloth. The embroidered-pheasant napkins are from Bonadea and the plates are from Bernardaud at Harrods. I love using ribbons: the Kensington Paperie is a good source and also sells amazing wrapping paper.
The PARROT
This is a softer alternative to red and green. I've mixed a pair of pink parrots from Fiona Finds with vintage pieces and highstreet finds, set against a magnificent tablecloth in Salvesen Graham's Floral Trail fabric. The napkins are tied with gingerbread reindeer looped through ribbons from the Embroidered Napkin Company and the antique candlesticks are from Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler.
