KOH LI TIM, KNOWN AS TIM to his friends and family, knew it would have been easier to make Korean-based skincare.

But he wanted to champion Southeast Asian skincare. So, together with two of his partners Sheryl Oon and Howie Lee, he started Paloma with three products: a cleanser, face hydrator, and serum.

The 35-year-old, who is also the director of business development at his family's interior design firm Environment Design Consultants International, tells us more about Paloma's philosophy and the next step for the brand.

How has the past year been like representing home?
Maddening, and fun. My personal life is a complete mess; I don't have one [laughs]. My day-to-day is also a mess, but it's so fun.

Can you tell me about the philosophy of Paloma and how it evolved from the initial concept to the products we see today?
