AUGUSTMAN HAS SPOKEN TO Parmigiani Fleurier CEO Guido Terreni several times since his appointment in 2021. One of our favourite figures in horology, he is a joy to talk to and has given us great insights into the meaning of leadership in the world of watches.

The maison's modern revival can be traced back to Terreni. In his tenure, the watchmaker has released several notable pieces such as the revival (and reinterpretation) of the maison's iconic Toric Collection, the Tonda PF Sport Collection, which opened the maison to new demographics, and high-complication wonders such as the L'Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse.

But it is the Tonda PF that fully realises Terreni's vision. This flagship collection was introduced shortly after his arrival and is often credited with the brand's current success. It is known for its discreet, elegant design, integrated bracelet, "Grain d'Orge" guilloché dial, and the platinum-knurled bezel. Key models include the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, Tonda PF Chronograph, and the Tonda PF Skeleton.
