Tell us about yourself. We’re a couple of full-time professionals working in the advertising and e-commerce industries. We’ve been living in this home for close to two years now.

Could you walk us through your process of choosing the decor for your home? Choosing decor—like the prints, art, and ceramics—has been a very organic process. We love collecting unique items from our travels, often stopping by homeware stores overseas. Bringing back mementos that remind us of the countries we’ve visited makes the decor even more meaningful.

Are there any particular cultures or eras that influence your interior design? Our home incorporates mid-century modern elements, balanced by materials like chrome and black metal finishes, which make the design feel contemporary. We appreciate modular design, like our USM console—an icon of its era with a timeless aesthetic that has kept it popular since the 1960s. Rather than subscribing to one style, we let our hearts guide us and encourage others to do the same.
