EMILY, HOW DID YOUR COLLABORATION WITH CIVILIAN COME ABOUT?

Our partnership with Nicko and Ksenia from Civilian began unexpectedly. We met them at a New Year's Eve event in Mexico 10 years ago while still working in sustainability and urban planning in Melbourne. Eight years later, after Bankston launched the 'SuperCollection' with Sans-Arc, Civilian reached out for a project. It turned out to be the same Nicko! We admired their design approach and aesthetics, making the collaboration feel natural. Plus, they're great people, which makes working together even better.
