In the last series of Sanditon, the period drama based on Jane Austen's unfinished novel, heroine Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams) had left town broken-hearted after realising her employer Alexander Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes) was unwilling to pursue a relationship, despite his feelings for her.

As the third and final run begins, Charlotte returns to Sanditon with her childhood pal and new fiancé Ralph Starling (Cai Brigden) to celebrate the 21st birthday of her best friend Georgiana Lambe (Crystal Clarke). But is Charlotte truly happy with her engagement?
