What appealed to you about this subject?

Rylan I knew that parts of Essex had history to do with witches. I'm an Essex boy, yet I didn't realise half the stuff happened 20 minutes from my house!

Alice I wanted to know why it happened. In this three-part series we document three stories - one based around a particular family, one about a community tearing itself apart, and another following the self-appointed 'Witchfinder General' Matthew Hopkins.
