After revealing a year and a half ago that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, Celine Dion is bravely sharing her story of living with the rare condition in a new documentary.

Directed by Oscar-nominated American filmmaker Irene Taylor, I Am: Celine Dion is described as a ‘raw and honest’ look at how the incurable neurological disorder, which causes painful muscle spasms and rigidity, has impacted on the five-time Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer’s daily life and career, leading her to cancel all her tour dates for 2023 and 2024.

‘It has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me,’ says Celine, 56, who earlier this month admitted on US morning talk show
