LORD ALAN SUGAR reveals why his festive challenge takes the biscuit

Lord Alan Sugar has a magical mission planned for the 12 famous faces taking part in a starry version of his BBC1 entrepreneurial competition, The Celebrity Apprentice.

With the aim of raising dough for Children in Need, the two-parter sees the candidates head off to Lapland, where they will be split into two teams to design and bake gingerbread biscuits. As well as creating an advert and a jingle, the groups must also pitch their product to retailers.

Broadcaster Robert Rinder leads Paralympic athlete Kadeena Cox, radio DJ Charlie Hedges, comedian Eddie Kadi, presenter AJ Odudu and EastEnders star Jake Wood in fashioning Santa's rebellious brother, Jolly McTrouble.
