Rob holds Carla hostage and a gun is fired – but who's the casualty?

The Rob Donovan storyline draws to a close this week, and if that's not good news, we don't know what is. Naturally, though, this doesn't happen without a hostage saga first, because you can't have a Corrie villain's reign of terror coming to an end without some poor soul being held against their will.

Carla had wondered if her twisted brother had popped his clogs a few weeks ago when a body was found. To her relief (though not necessarily ours), the corpse wasn't that of the convicted killer, who went on the run after surgery to give her one of his kidneys.
