Kit goes behind Bernie's back, and reveals all to Paul and Gemma

Bernie's thrilled that secret son Kit wants a relationship with his biological family. But the cafe worker doesn't realise that 'family' means just Gemma and Paul. She also hasn't counted on Kit telling the truth to his half-siblings without her involvement.

As the week kicks off, Bernie's feeling positive about the future. She has arranged to meet Kit in the Rovers so they can discuss how best to put Gemma and Paul in the picture. After all, the twins just know him as the kindly copper who helped them out - Kit came to Gemma's rescue when she was arrested for shoplifting, and intervened at Weatherfield General when a nasty toerag nicked Paul and Billy's disabled-parking space.
