A sunset catamaran cruise, glassblowing, visiting an ancient Olympic stadium and foraging for wild flowers are on the itinerary as 12 famous faces from ITV shows compete to deliver the best holiday experiences in ITVI's new travelthemed competition The Great Escapers.

The four-part series will follow a quartet of groups comprising three stars from I'm a Celebrity...

Get Me out of Here!, Coronation Street, The Chase and Loose Women as they head to sun-drenched European destinations where each holidaymaker will organise various activities in a bid to impress their colleagues.

At the end of each episode, the person who has put together the most memorable day will be crowned the winner.

Here, the celebs guide you through their trips...

I'MA CELEBRITY...GET ME OUT OF HERE!

HOLIDAYMAKERS DEAN McCULLOUGH, BARRY MCGUIGAN & OTIMABUSE

DESTINATION THE ALGARVE, PORTUGAL

After bonding in the Australian jungle as campmates in last year's series of survival game I'm a Celebrity..., professional dancer Oti, former boxer Barry and radio presenter Dean are reuniting in the Algarve.

'Barry and Dean are such big personalities, so I knew our holiday would be full of laughter with a bit of chaos!' smiles Oti, 35. 'And the Algarve is stunning.'

Adventure-seeker Oti's three activities for the group are an off-road buggy tour to the picturesque village of Paderne, followed by a lunch in the village of Alte before taking part in a dance class with a group of Portuguese folk dancers.

'Dean was giving full Beyoncé-style energy while Barry was pretending he couldn't dance, but secretly he was loving it,' says Oti.

On action man Barry's itinerary is kayaking, a visit to a fish market and a catamaran cruise at sunset, while organised Dean plans a sea-salt mud spa, razor-clam hunting and a night on the tiles on the Albufeira Strip.
