THE IMPOSTER

NEW MONDAY-THURSDAY, 9PM, 5 DRAMA

A furious family feud collides with a sinister scam in 5's The Imposter, a new Australia-set thriller starring soap favourites Kym Marsh, Jackie Woodburne and Dannii Minogue.

Created by Neighbours showrunner Jason Herbison, the four-parter sees Ramsay Street legend Jackie play Helen O'Riley, a steely Northern Ireland-born matriarch who finds herself at the centre of a bitter battle after refusing to sell her sprawling seaside hotel despite pressure from her three adult children, fun-loving Simon (Don Hany), loyal Kate (Jane Harber) and kind Ian (Jackson Gallagher).

Complicating matters further is the shock arrival of Helen's daughter 'Amanda' (former Coronation Street actor Kym), her secret eldest child whom she placed for adoption as a newborn baby in the UK during the 1970s.

However, charming 'Amanda' is actually a ruthless British con woman desperate to get her hands on the O'Riley fortune. But can she keep up with her web of lies, especially with the real Amanda (ex-Home and Away star Dannii) out there?

imageIntrigued, TV Times caught up with Kym, 49, to find out more...
