Ever since his award-winning performance in BBC1 thriller Bodyguard, Richard Madden has been one of the bookies’ favourites to take over the role of legendary big-screen spy James Bond.

Now, the 36-year-old Scottish actor shows off his secret-agent credentials as he stars in Prime Video’s big-budget, all-action six-part series Citadel, made by the team behind the blockbuster Avengers movies. Madden heads the cast as Mason Kane, who, along with his lover Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), works for Citadel, an international spy agency charged with keeping the world safe.
