More secrets and scandals await on the Italian Riviera when Hotel Portofino returns for a third season this week.

When we last saw the hotel's British expat owner, Bella Ainsworth (Natascha McElhone), she told her caddish, aristocratic husband, Cecil (Mark Umbers), that their marriage was over.

MOVING ON

As the new six-parter begins two years later in 1929, the couple are now estranged. And as Bella revels in her new-found independence, she enjoys a secret romance with handsome architect Marco (Giorgio Marchesi) and shocks the locals by being the first woman in Portofino to wear trousers.
