SOLIDARITY FOREVER
Storizen
|May 2024
Solidarity may sound like a small word, but it has a deeper and higher meaning. Itmeans unity, harmony, cohesion and Camaraderie. The word stands for (collective) cooperation and understanding among groups (of individuals), particularly during times of adversity.

Solidarity is most commonly witnessed during the time of war, natural calamity, disasters or pandemics. During a time of crisis, the human impulse comes collectively to tackle and address the crisis with unity. It transcends social status, ethnicity, religion, race and even borders.
The labour union is one of the best examplesof solidarity. The Workers/labourers have achieved their rights like, workplace safety, increments in their wages, fixing minimum wages etc.…, through the labour union (i.e. collective action of labourers). The solidarity of people for a common cause has mostly succeeded.
