Gwenpool goes to the dark side in a new miniseries

WHILE COUNTLESS MARVEL heroes have perished only to be resurrected, one death that remains sacred - at least until this point - is 1973’s tragic demise of Gwen Stacy. Numerous alternate universe variations of Peter Parker's former girlfriend - most prominently Spider-Gwen - have nevertheless appeared over the years, although that doesn’t include Gwenpool, aka Gwen Poole. But that could be about to change with the arrival of the all-new Dark Gwenpool in a miniseries by writer Cavan Scott and artist Stefano Nesi.

“The original Gwenpool not being Gwen Stacy is part of the joke, which only added to the appeal of doing this story,” Scott tells Red Alert. “Gwen Poole has always been about Marvel storytelling as a whole, which makes this all the more fun.”
