Princess Kate Makes Rare Outing Amid Cancer Treatment

Spotted for the first time since publicly attending Wimbledon in July, Princess Kate made her way to a morning service at Crathie Kirk, a small church on the royal family's Balmoral Estate in Scotland, on Aug. 25.

The outing marks just the third time Kate, 42, has appeared since announcing she'd be undergoing treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer after sharing her diagnosis with the world in March. For the late-summer church service, Kate was joined in the car by her husband, Prince William, 42, and the couple's oldest child, Prince George, 11. King Charles-who revealed in February that he was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer-and Queen Camilla, as well as Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and their son James, the Earl of Wessex, were also in attendance.
