All About Ashley Tisdale's "Toxic Mom Group' Drama

Save the drama for your mama—or in the case of a certain celebrity mom group, air it on the Internet instead. Ashley Tisdale French did just that in a viral essay on Jan. 5, in which she opened up about her decision to leave her mom friend group after feeling excluded.

In doing so, she opened the floodgates for speculation as to what really happened in the squad.

The High School Musical actress, 40, wrote in The Cut that she loved having a group of women to lean on for support as she raised daughters Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 16 months, with husband Christopher French. But the bonds frayed, and Tisdale French said that when she found herself not invited to multiple get-togethers, she stepped away, as the dynamic was “too high school” and no longer “healthy and positive,” she wrote, adding: “If a mom group consistently leaves you feeling hurt, drained or left out, it’s not the mom group for you.”
