Vanilla & California Walnut Whipped Cream

INGREDIENTS

2½ cups California walnuts (divided usage) 1 cup water 2 tbsp powdered sugar 1 to 2 tsp honey (divided usage) 1 tsp vanilla extract A pinch of salt

METHOD

1. Puree two cups of walnuts and water in a blender for two minutes or until very light and fluffy.

2. Add the powdered sugar, one teaspoon of honey, vanilla extract, and salt, and blend for 30 seconds. Add more honey if you prefer a sweeter taste.

3. To achieve a thicker whipped cream, add the remaining half cup of walnuts and puree until light and fluffy.

4. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator until ready to use.
