Artificial Intelligence is bringing about massive transformation in the skincare industry too, finds

- Kalwyna Rathod

THE FUTURE OF BEAUTY

As in every other sphere, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is making its presence felt in the beauty and skincare industry, with personalisation, precision, and accessibility. As Faridabad-based Dr Khushboo Jha (MBBS, MD), Chief Dermatologist Consultant – Metro Hospital and Founder – One Skin Clinic, puts it, “Earlier, you used to visit a dermatologist for detailed insights into your skin, but now you can instantly assess it using AI-powered tools and techniques, making it easier than ever before.”

Noida-based Deepak Gupta, co-founder of beauty tech platform Style Lounge, echoes this thought. “For so many years, skincare has been a real guessing game. Everyone stands in front of a mirror and wonders: Is this dark spot getting worse? Are my pores really that visible, or am I just imagining it? Then comes the trial-and-error cycle – buying creams, serums, and masks that might or might not deliver on their promises. Today, the mirror is no longer the only judge of our skin; AI has quietly stepped into our daily beauty routines, turning selfies into science-backed consultations, and replacing questions and uncertainty with clarity.”
