Micro purses are great to make a grand statement. But what does one do when one wants to haul around the essentials of their city-slicker life? Maybe this was the question that Nicholas Knightly – then leather goods designer at Louis Vuitton – wanted to address when he first designed the Neverfull bag in 2007. It was a bag that changed the way shoppers would be perceived. The French luggage-making giant designed this tote after noticing that it, too, had nothing to offer its urban clients that was big enough to take to work, to the shops or simply to the beach. Though it was purp
