Combining the comforting taste of familiar desserts with modern flavors and recipes, is a pastry chef running a quaint studio-cum-cloud kitchen in Saki Naka, Andheri. Rhea Mirchandani, a Mumbai-based baker and owner of Éclat Patisserie, began her journey as a commerce student, transitioning from Accounting and Finance to mastering the art of baking. While Rhea has always been passionate about cooking, it wasn't until 17, that she had her first experience with baking. "My mother always made birthday cakes for everyone in the house. Once, the day before my dad's birthday, she fell quite sick and wasn't able to complete the cake. My sister and I took over the task, using my mom's recipe. Though my sister did most of the work, I was there to assist. I was fascinated by how raw ingredients transformed into something edible and delightful." This experience ignited a passion for baking that soon became her calling.
