Join your favourite band with this amazing Al-enhanced app

Moises is an Apple App of the Year, and for good reason: it's wonderful. It enables you to sing or play along with your favourite musicians. Simply add the song you want to play and Moises can break it into its individual instruments, enabling you to remove tracks, change the key or adjust the speed. It can even show you the chords and lyrics, karaoke style.

The secret sauce here is artificial intelligence (AI). When you add a new song to your collection, Moises runs it through a powerful Al system that's been trained on most genres and eras of music. The Al identifies the individual tracks - the guitar, vocal, drums, and so on - and enables you to adjust and play them as if you'd recorded them in GarageBand yourself.

The core app is free, and we'll focus on the free features here. A monthly (£4.99) or annual membership (£34.99) unlocks more options, but for learning songs at home the free version is likely to be just fine for most people.
