Your iPhone's Camera app does an excellent job of capturing high-quality video clips that feature accurate colours, detail-packed tones and a sharply focused subject. It does all of these things automatically, meeting the needs of everyday ‘point, shoot and share’ videographers.

Final Cut Camera was first released by Apple in June 2024 to fulfil the requirements of videographers who demand more manual control of exposure, colour and sound during shoots, such as dialling in a faster shutter speed to capture sharper details in rapidly moving subjects, or manually adjusting White Balance settings to remove cold or warm colour casts. A key feature of Final Cut Camera is its ability to preview, sync, and record video footage from up to four iPhones with Live Multicam in Final Cut Pro for iPad, enabling videographers to cut between different camera angles with ease.
