Planar magnetic drivers are usually found in higher end over-ear headphones so Edifier has been fairly adventurous in fitting them into the NeoBuds Planar. Their build quality is impressive and the design, if somewhat less iconic than some others, feels modern and smooth. The case charges over USB-C or wirelessly and holds a total of 30 hours of power - 7.5 hours in the earbuds and 22.5 hours in the case with active noise cancelling (ANC) off, or 5+15 hours with ANC on. Not amazing by modern standards, with models from Soundcore, for example, offering more.
