A Snowy Adventure

"Hey, listen, quickly give me another blanket. It's freezing today," Meeku mouse said through his chattering teeth to his roommate, Cheeku rabbit.

"It's time to get out from under the blanket.

Come on, get up and get ready. You're forgetting what day it is," Cheeku replied.

"Oh no, who wants to get out in this cold? Just give me another blanket and pass me some biscuits to munch on," Meeku grumbled, sinking deeper into the blanket.

Still lying down, he started nibbling on the biscuits. Before long, the sweet smell of the biscuits attracted a whole line of ants into his bed. Annoyed by the ants biting him, Meeku had no choice but to get up.

"Alright, alright, tell me, what am I forgetting?" Meeku asked, sitting up.

"Our winter adventure trip starts today! Remember, all the students from our school are going on trip to Shimla? Get ready quickly, the bus will leave in an hour," Cheeku said excitedly.

"Oh that, I didn't forget about it, I actually planned not to go. What on earth has gotten into the boarding school management to take us all the way to Shimla in this cold?" Meeku replied.

"Are you really going to stay here alone? Come on, it'll be fun! Think about all the food you'll get to eat," Cheeku insisted. Imagining himself eating delicious food on Mall Road, Meeku finally agreed.

All the students began to get ready for their adventure to Shimla. Dressed in warm, cosy coats and jackets, they eagerly boarded the school bus.
