While the split was reportedly amicable, sources tell In Touch that the pair’s sudden breakup cuts much deeper. “About two months ago, Taylor gave him an ultimatum: Put a ring on it or it’s over,” says a source. “They’d been together for six years — how long is a woman supposed to wait? But Joe has always been afraid to commit. Then shortly after the ultimatum, Joe told her it was over — via text! Taylor felt so betrayed.”
