Breaking the child actor curse is notoriously difficult, and Bella Thorne is no exception. The actress, who's been working since she was 6 weeks old and has admitted she only took her starmaking gig on the Disney Channel series, Shake It Up, to support her family, spectacularly shed her clean-cut image after turning 18 - launching a cannabis line, becoming the first person to earn $1 million on OnlyFans and directing an adult film. “Because of my past, I was just an angry little girl for so long,” says the 27-year-old, who has revealed she was sexually abused from ages 6 to 14. “But I’ve done a lot of work on myself and changed so much. I’ve honed in on the kind of work I really want to do, and that has brought a lot of happiness into my life that I didn’t have before.” Here, Bella, who recently launched her jewelry collection, THORNE by Bella, at Walmart, talks to In Touch’s Lindsay Hoffman about therapy, wedding plans with her fiancé, producer Mark Emms, and her “movie baby.”
