What happens when you bring 12 young professionals together to vacation in a house on a picturesque island off the coast of Massachusetts? “It felt like we were at a summer camp for adults,”  says Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard’s Jordan Emanuel. Co-star Alex Tyree says filming gave him a new perspective on nonscripted television: “We can be so quick to judge reality TV personalities, but you have no idea what it’s like on the other side of those cameras.” Here, Jordan, Alex, newlyweds Jasmine and Silas Cooper, Amir Lancaster, Preston Mitchum, Bria Fleming, Shanice Henderson, Jason Lyke and Nick Arrington talk to In Touch’s Katie Bruno about drama, romance and keeping it real.

Tell us more about filming.

Preston: It was fun, exhausting and memorable.

Shanice: I love cameras, so it was all pretty natural for me!

Jason: For me, it was like a roller coaster. I was doing my best to navigate the twists and turns of all the drama.
