Church is in session, and we are ready to pray at the altar of Scott Foley's Pastor Malcolm
-
"We're dealing wi very real problems that all families deal with," Foley says of the show.
On the new Wonder Project series It's Not Like That, Pastor Malcolm (TV vet Scott Foley) joins a long legacy of religious leaders who make us hot under the collar. (See also Fleabag's Hot Priest and Rabbi Noah of Nobody Wants This.) For Scandal alum Foley, 53, playing a man of faith and dad of three in the throes of a personal tragedy — the recent loss of his wife — felt like the chance to do something different. “To embody a character who has that faith, it’s different than any character I’ve played,” he tells Us. “It’s much more complicated than I thought it would be.” Foley talks to Us about his soulful series.
