Royal experts believe the Prince and Princess of Wales are proving life will be different with them as King and Queen

WILLIAM AND KATE BREAK THE MOULD

The Prince and Princess of Wales are forging their own unique “blueprint” for the monarchy in a bid to ensure the royals remain relevant in a changing world, with Catherine set to play a pivotal role.

Palace experts believe the couple are hoping to “break the royal mould” by continuing to champion causes close to their hearts, while also taking a fresh approach to family life and royal overseas tours, helping to pave the way for their future as a truly relatable King and Queen.

Hot on the heels of Kate’s phenomenally successful two-day solo trip to Italy last month, a “very, very proud” Prince William hinted that she will be taking on more extensive overseas commitments in the months to come - and insiders believe Kate could even be at his side when he travels to India for the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in November.

Russell Myers, author of the bestselling biography William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, says, “The Prince and Princess of Wales are actively laying the foundations for their future as King and Queen. They are both stepping up the work with their individual causes and are later this year set to come together for their biggest tour as the Prince and Princess of Wales when they take on a diplomatic mission to India, as well as attending the final of William’s Earthshot Prize awards in Mumbai.”
