STRIKE FORCES YOUNG SHELDON TO AGE OUT!

HIT sitcom Young Sheldon will end its seven season run in 2024 with a whimper instead of a bazinga, according to industry insiders, who blame the recently wrapped actors’ and writers’ strikes for the demise of The Big Bang Theory prequel.

“There were certainly thoughts of doing an additional season or two since Young Sheldon remained so popular,” a source squeals.

“But with the strikes throwing a monkey wrench into everything, CBS didn’t seem to want to go back into negotiations that were surely going to include the big ensemble cast getting hefty raises, so they decided to just close up shop.”
