After revealing his ALS diagnosis, Eric Dane is re-devoting himself to his family and the work he loves!

On April 14, Eric Dane was back on the Euphoria set, filming the HBO drama's long-awaited third season. In the Season 2 finale, his character, Cal Jacobs, was arrested after son Nate (Jacob Elordi) turned him in for past crimes.

“There’s gonna be redemption,” Eric, 52, told Variety of Cal’s fate. “That’s the trajectory he’s on.”

Off-screen, the actor — who revealed on April 10 that he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) — is in the process of changing his own ways. “Eric used to take things for granted, but this has been a huge wake-up call to appreciate the moment and cherish everything,” says an insider of his health condition. “He doesn’t know how much time he has left, so he’s determined to make the most of it.”
