Radiating joy just hours after saying “I do,” Prince William and Kate are the picture of newlywed bliss in a previously unseen portrait.

The Prince and Princess of Wales released the black-and-white photograph to mark their 13th wedding anniversary – a welcome surprise for fans who have been desperate for reassurance as Kate continues her preventive treatment for cancer.

“13 years ago today!” read the caption. In the romantic photo, William has swapped his

red Irish Guards tunic – worn for the Westminster Abbey ceremony – for his Blues and Royals black frock coat (which he would go on to wear as best man at the 2018 wedding of his brother, Prince Harry).
