'I LOVE OUR WILD LIFE'

Hilaria Baldwin opens up about raising seven kids together with husband Alec - in good times and bad

As the wife of a Hollywood actor and mom to seven children, Hilaria Baldwin could be forgiven for feeling overwhelmed at times. After all, she also maintains a thriving career as a yoga instructor and an author - and to keep things extra interesting, she stars alongside her husband and kids in her own reality show, The Baldwins.

But though life can be hectic, Hilaria tells Hello! she wouldn't have it any other way.

“I think I naturally do well with chaos,” muses the 41-year-old mom, who shares Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and María Lucía, 4, and two-year-old Ilaria with 30 Rock star Alec, 67. “I have trouble sitting still, so it feeds my soul and my mind to be able to do all the amazing and unexpected things I get to do every day, with so many children. When it gets too much, I just get a bit quieter - I lower the volume of the chaos in my head, not to tune out but just enough to find some reprieve. I truly love our wild life.”

Fortunately, her famous husband is always there to lend a hand, doing his fair share of the household duties. “Alec is great at taking the kids to school and sports classes and organizing play dates,” says Hilaria. “I thrive at homework, bathing them, feeding them, putting them to bed and doctor visits – and just playing.”
