ROYALS SET A STYLISH STANDARD AT CHELTENHAM

Twinning cousins Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie, with their dashing husbands, lead a fashionable field of high-profile punters at the annual horse-racing festival in the Cotswolds

The royals led the field in the style stakes at Cheltenham Racecourse in the Cotswolds last week.

The Queen, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall and Zara's mother the Princess Royal all proved they were fashion favourites as they turned out for the first major racing event of the year.

Cousins Zara and Eugenie looked like style sisters in burgundy outfits for what seemed to be a double date with their dapper husbands, former England rugby union player Mike Tindall and businessman Jack Brooksbank.

Zara looked chic in a grey pinstriped suit by Laura Green with a berry-coloured turtleneck by high-street brand Karen Millen and a Bow & Arrow percher by Juliette Botterill Millinery in the same classic hue. Eugenie perfectly matched her in a full-length double-breasted coat by Hobbs, paired with a pillbox hat with a bow detail by Emily London.

Mike seemed to have got the style memo, too, accessorising his blue suit with a burgundy tie.

On day two of the festival, the royal party pulled out all the stops for Style Wednesday, introduced last year to replace Ladies' Day. Racegoers are encouraged to wear glamorous outfits, ideally with an element of sustainability.
