A holiday snap of the Princess with Robbie and Ayda Williams is the latest glimpse into her A-list friendships

As a member of the British royal family, Princess Eugenie is accustomed to rubbing shoulders with high-profile people.

But away from the charity work that comes with her royal heritage, she has quietly established herself at the centre of an A-list circle of friends.

Last week, the 35-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York made headlines when she appeared in images with Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda, who visited her during a family holiday in Portugal.

Eugenie balances working for a gallery on London's Savile Row with life in Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two sons, August, four, and Ernest, two.

Meanwhile, she has built up an enviable address book, filled with big names from around the world including Robbie and his wife.

It might seem like an unlikely celebrity friendship, but the close bond between Eugenie, Jack, Ayda and Robbie comes as no surprise to those in the know.

The couple were introduced to each other by Sarah, the Duchess of York, and their bond has grown. Robbie and Ayda's daughter, Teddy, now 12, was a flower girl at Eugenie's wedding to Jack in 2018.

CELEBRITY FRIENDS

It was at Eugenie's wedding that it first became apparent just how well-connected she is – although there were signs at a Toronto Soho House Halloween party in 2016, when she was pictured with the future Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Indeed, Eugenie first met Meghan before Harry did.

Guests at Eugenie and Jack's wedding at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, included the princess's supermodel friend Naomi Campbell and the Hollywood actress Demi Moore, who is a longtime friend of Eugenie's parents.

The actress Liv Tyler also attended with her fiancé at the time, the entertainment manager Dave Gardner, another longstanding friend of Eugenie's mother.
