Father-son relationships are a unique mix of unspoken emotions, full of complexity and depth, yet rarely voiced out loud. Built on respect, sacrifice and a love that's sometimes too big to say, these bonds are defined by the little things that mean the most — like a glance that reassures, a touch that comforts or a quiet word when it's needed most. In a world where affection often goes unsaid, a father’s love speaks volumes in those small, meaningful moments. Yet, sometimes words never make it past the heart, leaving the feelings to quietly simmer beneath the surface. But on this special occasion, those unsaid words finally find their voice in heartfelt letters.

Dear Papa,

It’s been 20 years since you left us, but not a day goes by without a thought of you. On this Father's Day, more than ever, I find myself wishing I could hear your voice, see your smile, or simply sit beside you in silence.

We miss you deeply, but if I’m honest, Mum misses you the most. She carries your memory in everything she does—in the stories she tells, in the way she still sets aside your favourite things. Her strength is incredible, but the space you left behind is one no one can ever fill.

We're doing our best, Dad. We're trying to be the kind of people you raised us to be—kind, strong, responsible. We're looking after Mum the way you would’ve wanted. And we're doing all we can to honour the legacy you left behind, both in name and spirit.

I often wonder where you are, and I hope with all my heart that you've found peace and happiness, wherever that may be. I like to think you’re watching over us, proud and smiling quietly to yourself.
