NEARLY 94% OF LOGISTICS COMPANIES OPERATE PARTIALLY BLIND: REPORT
Logistics & SCM
|September 2025
Visibility can be a massive headache across the logistics industry. Misrouted shipments, warehouse chaos, and inventory mysteries all hit your bottom line and frustrate customers. According to a recent survey 920 logistics professionals by Lumenalta, nearly 94 per cent of logistics companies operate partially blind, with visibility gaps costing millions annually.

The report highlighted that missed delivery windows, inventory errors, and tracking failures create cascading expenses that manual processes and siloed systems can no longer contain. Vision Al, which translates visual data into real-time insights, is emerging as the solution to eliminate blind spots, reduce errors, and improve both customer satisfaction and profitability.
According to the survey, nearly 58 per cent of Vision Al users report improved operational efficiency, outperforming competitors who rely solely on other Al tools. Nearly half (48 per cent) of adopters have achieved direct cost reductions, while 41 per cent report higher customer satisfaction due to greater inventory accuracy and faster delivery times. At a time when supply chain reliability directly impacts brand reputation, these gains are impossible to ignore.
