Logistics & SCM

|

July 2025

The first edition of the Air Confluence was dedicated to addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapid growth in the air cargo industry.

AIR CONFLUENCE 2025

The event convened leading stakeholders across the air cargo value chain, including airlines, airports, logistics providers, technology partners, and policymakers, to collaboratively explore forward-thinking solutions and advance sustainable development within India's air cargo landscape.

Prajakta Karnik, Editor, Logistics Outlook, set the tone for the event stating that the global air cargo industry is currently navigating a powerful mix of challenges and opportunities. On one hand, the industry faces headwinds of fluctuating freight rates, geopolitical tensions, regulatory pressures, etc., while on the other, there are visible tailwinds driven by e-commerce growth, pharma logistics, time-bound deliveries, etc.

Rahul Sequeira, Managing Director, ITP Media India welcomed the gathering stating that at ITP the focus is on building meaningful conversations and creating value for the readers through effective collaborations and conferences.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS

In his address on the theme “Unlocking India’s Air Cargo Potential: Building a World-Class Logistics Ecosystem”, Keku Bomi Gazder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Aviapro Logistics Services reflected on his 37-year journey in the air cargo industry, underscoring the importance of reliability, strategic positioning, and the vital role of seamless logistics in India's economic growth.
