With years of experience owning construction businesses, brothers Jabbok and Willy Schlacks started EquipmentShare with a shared vision—to solve the problems they faced as contractors: jobsite breakdowns due to lack of connection, lost or underutilized equipment, wasted time, and data living on clipboards or pieces of paper.

"As contractors, we saw jobsites breaking down not from lack of effort, but from lack of connection," says Jabbok Schlacks, co-founder and CEO of EquipmentShare.

"There was no system to bring all the moving parts of a complex jobsite together in real time-and that's the problem we set out to solve."
