Fraser assumed her role in March 2021, making her the global bank’s first female CEO and the first woman to run a major Wall Street bank. With a 20-year tenure at Citi, Fraser previously led the Citi Global Consumer Bank and held key roles in strategy and Latin America. Before joining Citi, she was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. In the first half of 2024, Citigroup reported $41.2 billion in revenues, $2.4 trillion in assets, and net profits of $6.6 billion. The 56-year-old also serves on boards, including the Business Roundtable and the Council on Foreign Relations. Fraser also ranked seventh on Forbes’ World’s Most Powerful Women list in 2023.
