It's home to the headquarters of dozens of Fortune 500 giants, including Citigroup, Pfizer and MetLife, but commerce here goes far beyond boardrooms. This is the beating heart of American media, the epicenter of fashion, and the capital of culture, where Broadway stages dazzle, blockbuster deals are made over Manhattans, and some of the world's best museums set the standard. What makes New York especially remarkable, though, is its refusal to stand still. The city is in a constant state of reinvention—evolving, expanding and always leading the way.
